The A-list marketing blogs, as viewed from farther down the alphabet

Looks like I’ve got a ways to go before I crack The Power 150’s list of top English-language marketing blogs. This is truly the A list of marketing bloggers, and the guy who put it together, Todd And, employs a methodology that is at least as sound as anything used by the publications that regularly rank colleges and universities.

Todd And’s Power 150

If you’re looking for this blog to be on the list, don’t bother. Despite our status as an influential niche blog, higher ed marketing continues to dwell among the bottom-feeding ZZZZZZ-listers. We’re currently holding down the basement at 325,886 (according to Technorati.

Anyway, I enjoy studying rankings. And the Power 150 is a good one, updated daily now, thanks to assistance from TechBrew. Plus, it’s nice to look at a rankings list that has nothing to do with higher ed and where a particular university stands in comparison with its peers and “aspirational group.”

Link via re: invention, which makes the list at No. 94. Kudos to Kirsten and company.
