Giving thanks

Hey, everybody. On this Thanksgiving Eve, I want to thank all of you for stopping by this blog. As I celebrate (belatedly) the two-year anniversary of higher ed marketing (I put up my first post on Nov. 10, 2005), I also am thankful that blogging and social media has gained so much traction in higher education over the past 24 months. We’ve got a long ways to go but let’s pause, celebrate how far we’ve come, and enjoy some good food and football (go Mizzou!), and give thanks for friendships, loved ones, jobs we love even when they make us crazy, good music (Bruce Springsteen’s Magic is my latest obsession) and life, wonderful life.

  1. Karine – Thank YOU for always being an inspiration on how to do it right. And a happy belated Thanksgiving to you. ;)

Brad – Yes, stick with Mizzou. The Illini aren’t too shabby this year, either. Their win over Ohio may end up helping Mizzou (or, God help us, KU).
