33 things (at least) to monitor in social media

TheNewPR/Wiki offers a nice list of 33 things companies (or colleges and universities) should monitor in the new social mediasphere. The list includes everything from company (university) name and URL to employee blogs, citations on Technorati, relevant Wikipedia entries and more. Can you think of anything else to add to the list? If so, get in touch with Shel Holtz, who started the wiki thread.

Another higher ed marketing blog

Discovered by way of erelevant: yet another blog about higher ed marketing with a name that rings a bell. This one is The Higher Ed Marketing Blog. (Note the “The” in the title. Just like “The” Ohio State University — it lends a note of distinction amid the sea of other blogs out there.) This blog launched a little more than a month ago, after the author was inspired by some things he heard at a conference.

Welcome to the growing tribe of higher ed marketing blogs, The. I look forward to reading more of your stuff.
