The new University of Missouri president is a UMR graduate

Meet the new boss: Gary Forsee, a 1972 graduate of my employer, the University of Missouri-Rolla, will become the University of Missouri’s new president next February. I’m looking forward to having Gary Forsee at the helm. He’s worked closely with our campus for the past few years as we launched our $200 million campaign.

Oh, yeah. We also launched a new look for our website today in anticipation of our Jan. 1 name change to Missouri University of Science and Technology. Karine Joly noticed and scooped me on the news.

It’s been a busy day at UMR/Missouri S&T.
