Liveblogging from CASE: ‘You 2.0,’ a 10-step program

As part of this morning’s CASE conference presentation on web 2.0, Karine Joly of CollegeWebEditor.com presented “10 steps to You 2.0,” or 10 ideas to help communications and marketing professionals get up to speed on the new web. Karine also posted the 10-step program on her site. It’s good advice — especially No. 10.

Karine and Joe Hice, associate vice president of marketing and public relations in the Office of University Relations at the University of Florida, presented a primer on the world and words of web 2.0, with another top 10 list of web 2.0 speak:

Philly bound, and blogging live

I’ll be headed for Philadelphia on Tuesday to attend the CASE Annual Conference for Senior Communications and Marketing Professionals. I’ll be hobnobbing with bloggers like Karine Joly and sitting on a panel with two distinguished Philly bloggers, Dan Rubin and Dave Ralis. Several other marketing and communications experts from higher ed will be there as well.

Both Karine and I plan to blog from the conference as time permits. So, if you can’t come to the conference in person, be sure to check back here and at College Web Editor for updates.
