RSS, demystified

By way of Steve Rubel’s Micro Persuasion comes this simple explanation of RSS feeds, and a new “Oprah-style” definition: RSS, according to blogger Stephanie Quilao, means “I’m Ready for Some Stories.” Clever. And it even comes with its own info-graphic.

  1. I’m not sure how fond I am of the “RSS logo = ? = magical intermediary” part of the graphic, but that’s just me over-analyzing it. It’s cute. I will have to do the “parent test” where I link it to my mom or someone like that, someone not too techno-savvy… then I’ll do my 13 year old test, with my sister’s help.
