My Twitter favorites file runneth over with all sorts of great content, so it’s time for a data dump. Here are some of my favorite recently favorited posts from my Twitter stream:
- A 21-year-old rebrands Microsoft in three days — and does a bang-up job with the task.
- How to archive Twitter hashtags.
- Leadership tip: Conflict keeps teams at the top of their game. The key is to foster the right kind of conflict. Make it about ideas, not personalities.
- What the WELL’s rise and fall tell us about online community, by Howard Rheingold in The Atlantic. This is gold for social media types. Read it and learn the lessons from our not-too-distant past.
- Is it time to kill lead nurturing as we know it? A Hubspot piece discovered via Kyle James.
- Google+ creators: Stop calling it a social network. Because it’s much more than that. “Google+ is nothing short of a wholesale upgrade to all of Google‘s products and services, but with the identity of the user incorporated.”
- The death of SEO: The rise of social, PR, and real content. Sounds like the title of a book by Al Reis or David Meerman Scott, doesn’t it. It’s actually a very relevant Forbes piece about how search engine optimization will soon be obsolete. The money quote: “Google used to think if you linked to someone on the Internet they must have valuable content. Now Google seems to believe that if you promote content with social media it is more indicative of relevant content and less likely to be faked.”
