Infographic of the day: What’s public on your Facebook profile

In all the discussions I’ve read online about Facebook’s move from privacy to publicy, none have depicted the issue quite as accessibly as this infographic. Look below to see just how public the default settings of your Facebook profile truly are.

  1. This is scary! Isn’t it weird that ten years ago the internet is where people are anonymous. Now, our private information can simply be made public for everyone. I know it’s all beneficial for marketing purposes but there has to be a line somewhere. Now there are sites that allow you to put your location on the net available to the public. Wouldn’t predators love to know that? And Google placing cookies in your browser http://sn.im/uxpm9 that allows spam to follow you wherever you go.
